The 1916 Company Continues Rolex Certified Pre-Owned Roadshow Across the US

Second Edition of Nationwide Tour Features Extensive Rolex Collection
The 1916 Company is bringing its popular 'Coast to Coast Roadshow' back to enthusiasts across the United States. This multi-city tour showcases a curated selection of Rolex Certified Pre-Owned (RCPO) watches, offering collectors and new buyers alike the opportunity to explore, try on, and purchase timepieces directly.
Following a successful inaugural tour last year, the 2026 edition has already made stops in Denver and Scottsdale, Arizona. The roadshow is set to visit several other key locations throughout the year. Upcoming dates and venues include Newport Beach, California (June 4-6); Ardmore, Pennsylvania (June 18-20); Manhattan Beach, California (Aug. 6-8); Baltimore (Nov. 5-7); and Philadelphia (Nov. 19-21).
A Deep Dive into Rolex Certified Pre-Owned Timepieces
At each stop, The 1916 Company will present an impressive collection of over 200 Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches. This selection spans various eras of Rolex production, highlighting everything from historic references and unique stone and lacquer dials to neo-vintage pieces from the 1980s and ‘90s, intricate gem-set models, and contemporary releases. The company emphasizes that each watch has undergone Rolex’s rigorous certification process.
Rolex officially launched its Certified Pre-Owned program in late 2022, allowing authorized retailers to sell pre-owned models that are at least three years old. The 1916 Company joined this program as a partner in late 2023. Each RCPO watch sold by The 1916 Company carries the distinct RCPO seal, signifying that it has passed Rolex’s comprehensive evaluation, service, and authentication standards. Furthermore, these watches are backed by a two-year international guarantee from the date of purchase, ensuring authenticity and reliability.
Engaging with Collectors
The roadshow is designed to be more than just a sales event. The 1916 Company will offer guided walkthroughs of the extensive watch collection at each location. Additionally, informal ‘Collecting Conversations’ are scheduled for 2 p.m. daily, providing a platform for enthusiasts to discuss the world of Rolex collecting. While open house hours will be available, private appointments can also be arranged for a more personalized experience.
John Shmerler, CEO of The 1916 Company, commented on the roadshow’s purpose: “The Coast to Coast Roadshow began as a way to bring our Rolex Certified Pre-Owned collection directly to collectors across the country. For those who attended in 2025, this is the next chapter. And for those coming for the first time, it’s the right entry point. At each stop, we’re assembling a selection that captures the full spectrum of Rolex timepieces through the years, giving collectors and first-time buyers alike the time and access to engage seriously—with the watches, our team, and our Collector’s Circle, The 1916 Company’s collector community.”
