The New York City Jewelry, Antique, and Object Show (NYCJAOS) marked a successful fourth annual spring edition by expanding to four days and welcoming over 6,300 visitors. The event, hosted by KIL Promotions at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, ran from April 23 to April 26, 2026, and was sold out to full capacity, featuring 160 antique galleries, jewelry designers, and luxury object makers.

Expanded Format Reflects Growing Demand

In response to popular demand, NYCJAOS added a fourth day to its spring show. Thursday, April 23, was dedicated to a VIP preview and a dealers-only shopping day, running from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. This special access required a separate ticket. The show opened to the general public with general admission tickets on Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Konstantinos I. Leoussis, founder of KIL Promotions, commented on the expansion, stating, 'The throngs of vintage connoisseurs in the New York City metro area that have made NYCJAOS such a thriving success have proven this type of relaxed and comfortable shopping experience is very necessary. We have expanded for year four to a four-day show, adding Thursday by popular request for VIP and dealer trade shopping.'

Celebrity Influence and Consumer Trends Drive Interest

Leoussis also noted the rising demand for distinctive vintage and antique jewelry, partly influenced by celebrity fashion choices. 'With celebrities like Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Cate Blanchette, and more showing up on red carpets in vintage couture ensembles, the demand for distinctive vintage/antique jewelry continues to rise,' he explained. 'Today’s consumer wants more access to the world’s leading dealers, and our show gives them that, making it easy, affordable, and comfortable for them to shop.'

The show's success is also seen as a reflection of broader market trends, including the growth of the luxury resale market and increasing consumer interest in the circular economy. 'Gen Z and Millennial consumers are actively seeking sustainable options for luxury goods – we have seen it firsthand at the show,' Leoussis added. 'The story behind every piece of antique or vintage jewelry or pre-owned watches also adds additional value. And with the high price of gold these days, shoppers are seeking alternatives, as well as fun ways to discover them. Many of our dealers reported healthy sales and significant interest from browsers.'

A Diverse Array of Luxury Goods

The NYCJAOS event offers a wide range of luxury items beyond jewelry. Attendees had the opportunity to explore and purchase handbags, scarves, watches, fine silver goods, art objects, and rare collectibles, alongside both new and vintage jewelry. The show aims to provide an exciting shopping experience where past and present offerings converge, highlighting vintage and antique treasures alongside contemporary designer goods, all emphasizing timeless craftsmanship.

Organizers emphasized that guests can learn about the provenance and story behind each piece, enhancing the luxury shopping experience and appealing to those seeking authenticity and value. A list of exhibitors is available on the NYCJAOS website.
