Tiffany & Co. has announced the promotion of Nathalie Verdeille to the position of senior vice president, chief artistic officer. This expanded role signifies a strategic move by the luxury jewelry house to unify its creative vision across all product categories.

Expanding Creative Oversight

In her newly enhanced capacity, Verdeille will now oversee the design teams responsible for all product categories, encompassing jewelry, home, accessories, and watches. This broadened responsibility aims to ensure a cohesive and elevated artistic direction throughout the brand.

Verdeille, who joined Tiffany & Co. in September 2021, has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s creative evolution. She previously served as chief artistic officer for high jewelry and jewelry. Her promotion underscores her significant impact on the brand’s recent successes.

Driving Design and Commercial Momentum

Under Verdeille’s leadership, Tiffany & Co.’s jewelry portfolio has experienced notable creative and commercial growth. Her approach emphasizes a nuanced balance between heritage and modernity, breathing new life into iconic designs while infusing them with a contemporary sensibility. A prime example of her success is the landmark relaunch of Jean Schlumberger’s ‘Bird on a Rock’ motif, which has been reinterpreted with a distinctive sculptural language characterized by movement, light, and exceptional craftsmanship.

The brand highlighted the exceptional performance of its Blue Book collections under Verdeille’s direction. The 2025 Blue Book collection, titled ‘Sea of Wonder’, has been recognized as the most successful high jewelry collection in Tiffany’s history.

A Vision Rooted in Heritage and Innovation

Anthony Ledru, president and CEO of Tiffany & Co., expressed his confidence in Verdeille’s abilities. “Nathalie brings a singular creative vision that is deeply rooted in our heritage yet unmistakably modern,” Ledru stated. “Her ability to translate artistry into desirability across categories has been central to our momentum. This expanded role reflects both her impact and our ambition to further strengthen the coherence and expression of our design across the maison.”

Verdeille, a graduate of the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris, brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at esteemed houses such as Cartier and Chaumet. She shared her enthusiasm for her new position:

“I am deeply honored and excited. Creation is rooted in a balance between heritage and innovation, between craftsmanship and a strong creative vision,” Verdeille said. “In this role, my aspiration is to structure a unique creative direction, serving our core business — jewelry — and to strengthen its clarity and desirability across all our creations. A shared commitment to excellence, in every gesture.”

Verdeille will continue to report directly to CEO Anthony Ledru and will remain a member of the executive committee, reinforcing Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to a unified and ambitious design strategy for the future.
