A New Era of Storytelling

Tiffany & Co. has announced Academy Award-winning actress, producer, and director Natalie Portman as its newest global House ambassador. This marks a significant new chapter for the iconic jeweler, ushering in an era of storytelling that celebrates love and the brand’s enduring legacy since 1837. Portman’s appointment coincides with the debut of a compelling new global campaign film and print advertisements.

Campaign Film Highlights Love and Resilience

The cinematic campaign film, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmakers Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet and shot by cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema, centers on the many facets of love. For the first time in her career, Portman plays herself in a luxury campaign, embodying her multifaceted roles as producer, film director, and mother. The film features an intimate portrait of Portman writing a letter to her daughter, reflecting on her journey and lessons learned about resilience, vulnerability, and self-worth. This narrative is deeply connected to Tiffany & Co.’s iconic HardWear by Tiffany collection, symbolizing inner strength.

“Inner strength isn’t found. You build it, piece by piece,” Portman states in the film. She further commented on the project, “Strength appears in different ways throughout our lives– through courage, curiosity, compassion and joy. It’s found in the thrill of growth and in the discovery of new dimensions within ourselves. Mona and Brady have crafted a beautiful and meaningful film that reflects the experience I’ve had over the years and the journey that continues to shape who I am becoming.”

The campaign film also subtly pays homage to the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s with an original composition of “Moon River” playing in the background, bridging the House’s storied past with its contemporary approach.

Iconic Collections Take Center Stage

Portman is featured prominently in both the campaign film and accompanying print advertisements, showcasing some of Tiffany & Co.’s most celebrated collections. These include:

  • HardWear by Tiffany: Representing resilience and inner strength.
  • Knot by Tiffany: A symbol of connection.
  • Sixteen Stone by Tiffany: Highlighting milestones.
  • T by Tiffany: A modern, graphic design.

In the print campaign, shot by Gordon von Steiner at Tiffany & Co.’s Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark, Portman is styled in elegant, minimalist black ensembles that allow the intricate jewelry designs to shine. She is seen wearing a full suite of yellow gold, pavé-diamond-embellished Tiffany HardWear, and a Sixteen Stone by Tiffany platinum and yellow gold necklace adorned with diamonds.

A Legacy of Excellence

“It is an honor to be Tiffany & Co.’s newest global House ambassador. The House has an incredibly rich heritage and is beloved for its unparalleled craftsmanship and creative excellence. I am excited to be a part of the Tiffany & Co. legacy,” Portman shared in an official statement.

Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co., expressed his enthusiasm: “Natalie’s sophistication, authenticity, and intelligence resonate deeply with Tiffany & Co.’s values. Elegant and courageous, she effortlessly embodies the modern Tiffany woman. We are honored to welcome her to the Tiffany & Co. family as we continue to shape the future of luxury through powerful storytelling.”

Portman joins an impressive roster of current and previous Tiffany & Co. ambassadors, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Rosé, and Gal Gadot.

Debut and Artistic Collaboration

The campaign film premiered globally on March 15, 2026, coinciding with the 98th Academy Awards. The collaboration with directors Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet of Magna Studios, and cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema, underscores Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to high-caliber artistic expression. Fastvold and Corbet noted, “Collaborating with Tiffany & Co. was an honor and a pleasure. We were drawn to the opportunity to create something aligned with their historic identity. The film was shot on 70mm, a format that allowed us to reflect the brand’s craftsmanship with extraordinary fidelity.”

Tiffany & Co., founded in 1837, continues its tradition of fine craftsmanship, innovative design, and creative excellence, with over 3,000 skilled artisans working in its workshops worldwide.
