Global luxury group Kering has announced a significant strategic move with the creation of Kering Jewelry, a new entity designed to consolidate and accelerate the growth of its jewelry portfolio. This new division will bring together the group’s esteemed jewelry houses—Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin—under a unified structure.

Integrated Platform for Growth

Kering Jewelry will operate as an integrated platform, aiming to support the growth of its constituent brands by enhancing their creative identities and fostering the development of their iconic and High Jewelry collections. The structure is also intended to enable Kering to capitalize on new opportunities within the jewelry category, potentially benefiting its fashion and leather goods businesses as well.

Jean-Marc Duplaix has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Kering Jewelry, effective immediately. In this role, he will oversee the CEOs of the jewelry houses, thereby strengthening strategic alignment and operational coordination across the division. Duplaix will also retain his existing responsibilities as Kering’s Group Chief Operating Officer, which encompass finance, M&A, investor relations, real estate, digital, and the general secretariat.

Kering’s CEO, Luca de Meo, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture, stating, “With Kering Jewelry, we equip the group with a solid and coherent platform, capable of supporting the ambitions of our maisons in an area where creativity and excellence are inseparable. I am very pleased with Jean-Marc’s appointment: his experience will be instrumental in unlocking the group’s full potential in jewelry.”

Industrial Capabilities and Restructuring

The new entity will also incorporate Kering’s industrial capabilities, notably through the integration of the Raselli Franco Group. This Paris-based jewelry manufacturer, acquired by Kering in December 2025 for €115 million (US$132 million), will play a crucial role within Kering Jewelry, leveraging its exceptional savoir-faire and cutting-edge technologies.

The creation of Kering Jewelry is part of a broader company-wide restructuring effort initiated by Kering to enhance brand growth and operational efficiency. This includes the establishment of two additional organizational wings: Industry, focusing on production, manufacturing, and R&D; and Client, which oversees client-related functions such as marketing, data, and pricing.

Financial Reporting and Future Outlook

Beginning in the first quarter of 2026, Kering will implement a new segmentation structure for its financial reporting. The company’s performance indicators will be divided into distinct operating segments: Fashion and Leather Goods, Kering Jewelry, Kering Eyewear, and Corporate & Other. Gucci will continue to be reported separately due to its significant impact on the group’s overall financial results.

Kering Jewelry generated a revenue of €935 million in 2025, according to preliminary figures from the new segmentation. The Fashion and Leather Goods division, including brands like Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Bottega Veneta, reported €12.2 billion in revenue for the same year, with Gucci alone accounting for €5.992 billion.

Looking ahead, Kering plans to unveil further details of its strategic roadmap at its Capital Markets Day on April 16, 2026. Jean-Marc Duplaix commented on the past year, noting, “2025 was a year of disciplined strengthening... I’m deeply appreciative of what we achieved together and confident in the foundations we’ve built for sustainable and profitable growth to resume.” Kering CEO Luca de Meo expressed optimism, adding, “We will see growth in 2026 and increasing margin for all the brands.”

Kering, founded in 1963, is a global luxury group employing 44,000 people and generating €14.7 billion in revenue in 2025. The group’s vision is expressed in its signature: Creativity is our Legacy.
