Jewelers for Children Taps Industry Leaders for 28th Annual Facets Fundraising Event

Jewelers for Children (JFC) has announced two distinguished industry leaders, Michael Lerche, CEO of Goldstar Jewellery, and J.K. Symancyk, CEO of Signet Jewelers, as the honorees for its 28th annual Facets fundraising event. The highly anticipated gathering is set to take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
A Night of Philanthropy and Industry Recognition
Facets serves as the premier fundraising event for JFC, bringing together over 700 jewelry industry professionals for an evening dedicated to networking, celebration, and philanthropy. The event underscores JFC’s commitment to supporting children in need worldwide, with all proceeds directly benefiting its mission and nonprofit partners. Last year, JFC celebrated donating over $1.2 million to its charitable organizations, and the organization aims to increase its contributions in 2026.
“We are proud to have two excellent honorees this year. Michael and J.K. exemplify leadership, integrity, and a deep commitment to giving back,” stated Craig Stern, board chair of Jewelers for Children and CEO of Rogers Enterprises. “Their impact on our industry, and their dedication to supporting children and families, make them incredibly deserving honorees. As we celebrate over $1.2 million donated to our nonprofit partners last year, we look forward to being able to give even more in 2026.”
Event Details and Program
The evening will commence with a cocktail reception from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a presentation that will include a fundraising auction featuring a child who has benefited from JFC's support. The program will also highlight the impactful work of JFC’s nine current nonprofit partners, announce the 2026 fundraising results, and detail the distribution of funds. The event will conclude with a walking dinner.
Facets is recognized as the jewelry industry’s significant night for connection and celebration, uniquely dedicated to supporting children facing adversity globally. The event aims to share stories of resilience and triumph, showcasing how the jewelry industry’s support enables children to thrive.
