Jewelers of America Opens 2026 Impact Initiative Applications

Jewelers of America (JA) has announced that applications are now open for its 2026 Impact Initiative, a grant program aimed at fostering growth and sustainability within the U.S. jewelry sector. This initiative, now in its second year, provides crucial funding to organizations and companies dedicated to enhancing the industry through ethical practices, environmental responsibility, education, and innovation.
Program Goals and Funding
The Impact Initiative is a key component of JA's strategic plan, focusing on energizing the member community, advancing education, and amplifying advocacy. For 2026, JA is allocating an initial $150,000, structured as an endowment, with the long-term goal of creating lasting positive change in the jewelry industry. Funds will be awarded based on the merit of proposed programs, their potential reach, and the demonstrated need.
David J. Bonaparte, President and CEO of Jewelers of America, emphasized the association's commitment to elevating the industry. 'Jewelers of America is committed to elevating the jewelry industry,' Bonaparte stated. 'We believe that by supporting programming of other associations, we can make even more impact. We look forward to seeing the applications for this year and remain grateful to our Board of Directors for supporting our vision to create the Impact Initiative.'
