London - Luxury jeweler Jessica McCormack has introduced an 11-piece collection of medallions designed to capture the essence of summer style. The new collection, named ‘Medallions,’ draws inspiration from antique coins, offering pieces that are intended to be modern-day heirlooms.

Timeworn Aesthetics, Contemporary Craftsmanship

Each piece in the ‘Medallions’ collection is handcrafted by a single goldsmith in McCormack’s London workshop. The designs feature an appealing juxtaposition of timeworn aesthetics and distinctly contemporary elements. The medallions are fashioned from 18-karat yellow gold, with surfaces intentionally given a slightly worn appearance and hand-punched hallmarks to evoke the look of antique coins. Adding a modern contrast, select pieces feature diamonds set in 18-karat blackened white gold, complemented by ultra-high polish button backs.

Symbolic Motifs and Gemstone Embellishments

The collection showcases five distinct motifs, each rich in meaning yet open to personal interpretation: an eye, a burning heart, a spiral, a flower, and a swallow. These symbolic designs are central to McCormack’s philosophy of creating jewelry that resonates deeply with the wearer.

A standout piece is the ‘Cry Baby’ pendant. Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, it features a diamond pupil and a 0.70-carat pear-cut diamond tear, meticulously set in an 18-karat blackened white gold Georgian-style cut-down setting. This particular pendant is priced at $28,000. A more elaborate version, featuring a significant 3.02-carat pear-cut diamond drop, is available upon request.

Versatile Styling Options

Complementing the medallions, the collection also offers necklaces in four distinct styles. To introduce vibrant color, McCormack has incorporated hand-carved lapis lazuli beads paired with 18-karat yellow gold cylinders in the ‘Long Guard’ necklaces. One such necklace features approximately 17.10 carats of lapis lazuli beads, 13 pear-cut diamonds totaling 0.30 carats each, and 18-karat yellow gold cylinders, retailing for $69,500.

Additionally, the medallions can be effortlessly paired with the brand’s signature 18-karat yellow gold ‘Ball n Chain’ necklaces, offering wearers flexibility in styling. The ‘Medallions’ capsule collection starts at a price point of $25,250.

The ‘Medallions’ collection debuted on May 7th and is available for purchase on the Jessica McCormack website. The London-based brand, recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to craftsmanship, also boasts a store on New York City’s Madison Avenue, which opened in 2025.
