The Diamond Council of America (DCA) is partnering with the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) to deliver a specialized 2-hour Gemstone Live Sales Power Session. This event is scheduled for February 28, 2026, marking the opening day of the IJO Colorado Springs Conference, which will be held at the Broadmoor Resort from February 28 to March 3, 2026.

Focus on Colored Gemstone Sales

The intensive session is meticulously designed to equip jewelry professionals with enhanced confidence and skills in selling colored gemstones. Attendees will gain practical insights into effectively communicating the color, rarity, and value of gemstones to inspire customers. The course will also focus on transforming product features into compelling customer benefits and mastering techniques for handling common sales objections. This fast-paced introduction serves as a preview to the comprehensive DCA Gemstone Sales Course, offering techniques that can be implemented immediately in retail environments.

Roxana Langloss will present the session on behalf of DCA. Annie Doresca, DCA President & CEO, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are looking forward to presenting this DCA Gemstone Live session at IJO. With our renewed commitment to providing quality and affordable distance education, this course will provide jewelers with an interactive look into the DCA Colored Gemstone course—an essential educational course in today’s gemstone-driven retail environment.”
