Ben Bridge Jeweler Opens Dedicated Tudor Boutique in Honolulu

A New Chapter for Timepieces in Hawaii
Ben Bridge Jeweler has unveiled a brand-new, dedicated Tudor boutique in Honolulu, marking a significant expansion of its luxury watch offerings on the island. Located at 2300 Kalakaua Ave., this 950-square-foot space represents the first Tudor-exclusive boutique for Ben Bridge in Hawaii, a market where the retailer has maintained a strong presence for the past 35 years. The opening signifies a deepening partnership between the two esteemed brands.
Celebrating Tudor's Craftsmanship and Hawaiian Spirit
The new boutique is designed to immerse visitors in the world of Tudor, showcasing the Swiss watchmaker's celebrated collections. Among the featured timepieces are the iconic Black Bay, the robust Pelagos, the elegant 1926, and the sophisticated Tudor Royal lines. A unique feature within the store is the Black Bay 58 experience table, which offers clients an interactive opportunity to explore the product's fabrication.
Reflecting the boutique's tropical surroundings, elements of Hawaiian surf culture are woven into the store's design. Branded surfboards are displayed throughout, and the Tudor area specifically commemorates surf culture, featuring dive watches like the Tudor Black Bay and related memorabilia. This thoughtful integration aims to resonate with the local community and visitors alike.
Highlighting Key Collections
The Black Bay collection, a centerpiece of the new boutique, draws inspiration from Tudor's 1950s dive watches. It incorporates distinctive design cues such as the 'Snowflake' hands from 1969 models, alongside modern manufacturing techniques for enhanced reliability and robustness. This collection embodies a fusion of historical aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking, celebrating over 70 years of Tudor dive watch heritage.
The Tudor Pelagos collection, renowned for its deep-sea capabilities and history in diving, is also prominently featured. Ben Bridge describes it as the ultimate diver's watch, boasting water resistance up to 500 meters and available in both left- and right-handed versions. Notably, the Pelagos 39 was honored with the 'Sports Watch' prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in Fall 2023, often referred to as the 'Oscars' of the watch industry. The latest addition, the Pelagos FXD model, was developed in collaboration with a specialist unit of the French Navy for professional underwater navigation.
A Longstanding Relationship and Future Vision
Lisa Bridge, president and CEO of Ben Bridge Jeweler, expressed her enthusiasm for the new venture. 'We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter for Ben Bridge and Tudor in Hawaii,' she stated. 'With 112 years of watchmaking heritage, we have a profound appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship of fine watches. We cherish the longstanding relationships we have built in Hawaii and eagerly anticipate being part of many timeless moments we will share with our customers here.'
The new Tudor boutique is part of Ben Bridge Jeweler's broader expansion, bringing its total number of stores to 36 across seven western U.S. states, Hawaii, and Alaska. This marks Ben Bridge's fifth store in Hawaii, joining existing locations that include a Pearlridge Center Mall store and a Timeworks boutique featuring Rolex and Grand Seiko.
Grand Opening Celebration
The grand opening was celebrated on October 24 with a party at Hau Tree in the Kaimana Beach Hotel, attended by over 100 guests. This event highlighted the successful launch of the boutique and reinforced Ben Bridge's commitment to the Hawaiian market.
Founded in 1912 in Seattle, Washington, Ben Bridge Jeweler remains family-run, currently led by Lisa Bridge, the fifth generation of the Bridge family. The company, acquired by Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. in 2000, continues to uphold its legacy of quality and customer service.
